• CECCATO AUTOMOBILI SKODA MG

Clients: SAIC Motor Italy / Volkswagen Group Italia
Dealership: Ceccato Automobili
Address: Via Roma 155, Villorba (TV)
Project Managers: Riccardo Mussini, Mattia Molteni Bassi, Francesco Barbaglio

Project Objective

The project at the Ceccato Automobili dealership in Villorba involved a complete brand identification intervention for two distinct marques: MG Motor, for which both exterior and interior elements were implemented, and Škoda, for which the intervention focused solely on the exterior. This was a particularly unique case, as it marked the first instance in Italy where the two brand identities within a single dealership were visually separated using a Vertical Green Lamellas system, part of Škoda’s brand standards, and entirely designed and produced by Progim Sign.

Interventions Completed for MG Motor

  • MG institutional totem
  • 3D MG logo
  • 3D MG Motor lettering and dealer name
  • Illuminated light channels
  • Welcome totem
  • Single-sided service sign
  • Full interior outfitting (according to MG’s standard format)

Interventions Completed for Škoda

  • Škoda totem
  • White fascia with green light channel
  • Green entrance portal
  • Service signage

Coordination and Production

The project was coordinated by a team composed of Riccardo Mussini, Mattia Molteni Bassi, and Francesco Barbaglio, each managing operational and logistical aspects within their respective areas of expertise.
MG signage was fully produced by Progim Sign, while Škoda signage was supplied by Westiform, Škoda’s certified vendor.

The Vertical Green Lamellas, a key feature of the project, were conceptualized, designed, and manufactured directly by Progim Sign.
This modular system serves as a physical and visual divider between the MG and Škoda showrooms, while maintaining natural light and architectural continuity. The term “Green” refers to the climbing greenery incorporated into each lamellar module, adding a natural and decorative look that enhances the aesthetics and environmental feel of the space. Each module was customized to fit the building’s specifications and finished with weather-resistant materials, ensuring long-term durability, easy maintenance, and a modern, distinctive visual impact.

Installation and Logistics

Two specialized teams worked simultaneously—one on exterior installations and the other on interior fittings—optimizing site time and minimizing disruption to the dealership’s operations. Material deliveries were managed to maintain a continuous installation flow, with Škoda signage installed first, followed by MG components.

Final Outcome

The project concluded with full approval from both brand headquarters. In particular, Škoda Italia formally acknowledged the efficiency and quality of the execution with an official letter of appreciation.

The visual integration of two distinct brand identities was managed functionally, enhancing each brand’s presence without compromise.

Progim Sign once again proves to be a reliable partner for complex, multibrand projects, capable of managing aesthetic, functional, and operational requirements simultaneously.
