Client: Electra
Charging station address: Via M. Bussato, 74 – Ravenna
Project Managers: Francesco Barbaglio and Adele Bernardi
For the Electra site in Ravenna, Progim Sign carried out an intervention dedicated to the installation and customization of the identification elements for the electric charging point. The project required coordination between several parties involved, from infrastructure preparation to assembly and finishing activities, with particular attention to the safety standards required by the client.
Electra, a company specializing in electric vehicle charging services, directly provided the graphic layout and technical specifications for the project, while Progim Sign managed the operational activities on site, working together with the approved partner Visotec and Electra representative Enrico Mancini.
Site preparation and activity coordination
The development of the charging point began with the preparation of the bases by the contractor appointed by Electra, following the technical instructions shared with Progim Sign.
Once this preliminary phase was completed, the team coordinated material reception, unloading, inspection and installation of the elements. The material was supplied directly by Visotec and managed on site on the scheduled installation day.
Ongoing communication with the Electra representative made it possible to organize all operational phases efficiently, ensuring compliance with the agreed timelines and procedures.
Graphic customization and film decoration
For the Ravenna site, an additional customization activity was required through the application of decorative films.
The graphic layout was supplied directly by Electra, while Progim Sign handled the technical adaptation needed for film production, selecting the most suitable materials to ensure durability, aesthetic quality and correct application on the surfaces.
The decoration helped reinforce the visual identity of the charging point, making the elements fully consistent with the brand’s coordinated image.
Structure installation and internal wiring
The intervention included the installation of poles composed of multiple elements, assembled directly on site. During this phase, Progim Sign carried out the assembly of the structures and the internal wiring required for the operation of the integrated devices.
The installations are equipped with front-facing LED screens that allow useful information to be communicated to users, such as charging costs, charging station availability, and promotional or informational content.
The structures also integrate cameras that allow Electra to remotely monitor the operation of the site in real time, ensuring constant control of the infrastructure.
The final connection of the data line and certification operations were carried out directly by Electra technicians, according to the company’s procedures.
Safety as a central element of the project
One of the most relevant aspects of the intervention was the strict compliance with the safety procedures required by Electra.
Before activities began, technical surveys were carried out with a specific focus on construction site safety and assembly operations. Access to the site was authorized only after all documentation required by the coordinator appointed by the client had been submitted.
Specialized teams equipped with certified equipment were used for the installation operations, including cranes, scaffolding and mobile scaffold towers compliant with current regulations.
Electra’s focus on compliance with safety standards was particularly high throughout every phase of the project, helping ensure a controlled working environment fully aligned with the required standards.
A successfully completed project
The Ravenna site represents one of the first projects developed for Electra and stands as a concrete example of collaboration between the client, the production partner Visotec, and the operational team of Progim Sign.
Thanks to careful planning, coordination with representative Enrico Mancini, and accurate management of the installation and customization phases, the project was completed successfully.
The final result is a modern, recognizable and functional charging point, designed to provide users with clear information and an effective usage experience. The satisfaction expressed by the client at the end of the activities confirms the quality of the work carried out and the effectiveness of the collaboration between all parties involved.
