For the MG Ferrari Giorgio SPA dealership in Sassuolo, Progim Sign carried out an intervention dedicated to the external identification of the site, following MG brand guidelines and the instructions approved by SAIC Motor Italy.
The project included the removal of the old signage, the repainting of the façades, and the installation of new external communication elements, with the aim of aligning the site with the official image of the brand. All activities were coordinated by Project Managers Riccardo Mussini and Francesco Barbaglio, in collaboration with the dealership and SAIC Motor Italy network development representatives, Gabriele Cantone and Mara Ghislandi.
An external intervention to enhance the presence of the MG brand
The work focused on the dealership’s external areas in order to update the site’s visual identity and strengthen the recognisability of the MG brand.
Progim Sign managed the production and installation of the planned elements, also taking care of the façade repainting and the removal of the existing signage. These activities made it possible to properly prepare the surfaces and ensure a final result consistent with the brand guidelines.
Technical surveys and project development
Before the operational activities began, technical surveys were carried out on site to collect the information required for planning the works.
The graphic design was developed internally by Progim Sign based on the layout already approved by the manufacturer, ensuring continuity between the brand standards and the specific characteristics of the Sassuolo site.
Production and installation of identification elements
The production phase was managed entirely by Progim Sign, which handled the creation of the elements planned for the dealership’s external identification.
The intervention included the installation of:
- two MG channel logos;
- channel-letter dealer name;
- “Welcome” mini totem;
- external “Service” sign;
- internal “Service” sign.
These elements help make the site more recognisable and clearly organise the visual communication of the dealership, both for the sales area and for the services connected to after-sales assistance.
Operational coordination and on-site preparations
The scheduling of preparatory activities was managed by Progim Sign in coordination with the client and SAIC Motor Italy network development representatives. During this phase, the necessary preparations for installation were defined, including foundations and electrical points.
The material was delivered directly on site by carrier on the morning of the installation, optimising timing and coordination of the operational activities.
Installation with aerial platform
The on-site installation was organised with a two-person team and the use of an aerial platform.
This operating method made it possible to properly manage work at height and the installation of the external elements, while maintaining close attention to safety and execution accuracy.
Project compliance was ensured through adherence to the manufacturer’s guidelines and the approved layout.
A project completed with full satisfaction
The project for MG Ferrari Giorgio SPA in Sassuolo was completed with full satisfaction from both the dealership and the manufacturer.
Thanks to the integrated management of the different phases, Progim Sign delivered a complete external identification intervention, handling technical surveys, design, production, repainting, and installation.
