Client: Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V.
Dealer: K-Monza
Address: Viale Fulvio Testi, 326 – Milan
Progim Sign Project Manager: Mattia Molteni Bassi
A full-scope project for a motorcycle dealer
For K-Monza, Kawasaki’s motorcycle dealer in the Milan area, Progim Sign delivered a complete identification project—both external and internal—with the goal of bringing the site fully in line with Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V. standards and improving the dealership’s recognisability from the moment customers arrive.
The project was managed by Project Manager Mattia Molteni Bassi, with on-site operational coordination alongside Alberto Aceti, Kawasaki’s reference contact, to align work phases and brand requirements.
Technical surveys, design and permitting
The work started with detailed technical surveys to verify surfaces, dimensions and the building’s real constraints. Based on these findings, Progim Sign developed the graphic design and the related project book, defining layouts, positions and execution methods.
Progim Sign also handled the required administrative permits needed to proceed with the intervention.
External signage: two Kawasaki fascia board
For external identification, two Kawasaki fascia boards were installed, produced by Prolicht as Corporate Identity elements. Installation was scheduled according to supply lead times, so the external works could be completed in an orderly way and in line with the site sequence.
Interior fit-out: sales area and brand communication
In parallel, the interior fit-out was completed, adding functional and brand-communication elements consistent with Kawasaki’s image:
- platforms;
- posters;
- display stands;
- desks;
- banners.
The furnishings were delivered via Kawasaki’s official supplier and integrated on site according to the format guidelines.
A bespoke solution: grey film on glass
Among the special works, a sign planned on a glass surface required a grey background to ensure the correct finish and legibility. To achieve the required effect, Progim Sign applied a grey film to the glass, creating the proper visual substrate for installation.
Installation: two teams, optimised sequence
Installation was organised with two dedicated teams:
- one team for the interiors (3 people), focused on the fit-out activities;
- one team for the exteriors, activated later to complete the Kawasaki fascia boards.
The sequence was set as “interiors first, then exteriors”, also in line with the signage availability timeline.
Compliance and outcome
Compliance with standards was ensured through the use of approved suppliers and strict adherence to brand specifications throughout all phases, from survey to installation.
Today, the K-Monza site features an immediately recognisable external identity and a fully fitted interior, consistent with the Kawasaki experience and with the image objectives defined by the client.
