The first dealership after the identification of the Geely site in Rome
Progim Sign’s work for Locauto Due represents the first intervention on a Geely dealership following the external identification of the Geely site in Rome. A pilot project designed to translate the brand guidelines into a real-world application and establish a replicable baseline for subsequent sites.
The objective was to make the location immediately recognisable and consistent with Geely’s Corporate Identity, integrating the installations onto the available surfaces and coordinating with ongoing works on the building.
Technical survey and solution set-up
The project started with an on-site executive technical survey and an initial design draft to define positioning, alignments and fixing methods for the identification elements.
Brand coordination was supported by Claudio Marcolongo, Geely representative, to align operational choices with guidelines and site priorities; special thanks also go to Andrea Narullo, Network Manager at Jameel Motors, for the collaboration and support in aligning network requirements.
For the overall site layout, the appointed design studio was Quoin. Progim Sign managed operational alignment with the studio and with the other companies on site, ensuring the signage was integrated into the broader context without overlaps between activities.
Installed elements and special fabrications
The intervention covered external identification and a number of dedicated solutions for the entrance and service areas. Specifically, Progim Sign managed and installed:
- Façade signs supplied by the Geely vendor and installed according to the received specifications;
- Internal entrance mini-totem, manufactured by Progim Sign;
- Service blade sign;
- Service reception sign, manufactured by Progim Sign;
- Integration of Jameel Motors
To ensure correct and stable installation of the façade signs, Progim Sign also fabricated and installed a dedicated support subframe a key technical solution to adapt the installation to the site’s actual characteristics and available elevations.
Operational management: logistics and installation
Material handling included a storage phase followed by preparation for installation, with targeted adjustments based on the building’s requirements.
Installation was carried out by one crew over two working days, coordinating timings and access to maintain continuity and close the site in line with the planned schedule.
Compliance and project validation
Upon completion, the project was validated by Geely in compliance with applicable standards and the Corporate Identity objectives defined by the brand.
Result
Locauto Due now features clearer identification aligned with Geely’s image, with dedicated solutions for the entrance and service areas and the correct integration of façade installations.
As the first dealership in the series—after the identification of the Geely site in Rome—this project adds further value: it defines a working method and a quality standard that can be replicated across upcoming Geely dealerships, confirming Progim Sign’s role as a technical and operational partner for identification and rebranding programmes in the automotive sector.
