A new Electra intervention in the municipality of Curno
Progim Sign took part in the development of the structures installed at the Electra charging station located at Via E. Fermi, 1 in Curno. The activity included material reception on site, component checks, assembly of the various parts and final positioning of the elements included in the project.
The intervention was developed in collaboration with Electra representative Enrico Mancini, following the procedures required for site access and the coordination of operational activities.
Structures dedicated to electric charging services
The installations are part of the support infrastructure for Electra charging stations. They consist of a set of elements designed to identify the charging area, improve service visibility and provide useful information to users.
The structures are equipped with integrated LED displays and make it possible to communicate data relating to station availability, usage times, service costs and other informational content. The elements were designed for use in outdoor environments, ensuring functionality and recognisability within the area dedicated to electric mobility.
Operational management and project coordination
Planning and coordination of the activities were entrusted to Progim Sign Project Managers Francesco Barbaglio and Adele Bernardi. Their work involved organising the installation phases, checking the required documentation and coordinating the different parties involved in the project.
Thanks to careful management of timing and site activities, assembly was carried out efficiently and in compliance with the planned operating conditions.
Material supplied by Visotec and site preparation
The components used for the intervention were supplied by Visotec, the approved manufacturer, and delivered directly to the Curno site. Once the material had been received, the Progim Sign team carried out preliminary checks and prepared the assembly operations.
Before the structures arrived, the bases had already been built by the contractor appointed by Electra, allowing the subsequent installation activities to proceed quickly.
Structure assembly and technical preparation
The installations were assembled directly on site starting from the individual components supplied. After assembling the structures, Progim Sign carried out the internal preparation of the connections inside the support poles.
The final connection to the electrical systems and data networks was subsequently carried out by Electra technicians, who completed the required checks and certifications.
Focus on safety during the works
All operations were carried out using certified equipment, including cranes and mobile scaffold towers, which were essential for handling and positioning the installed elements.
Particular attention was paid to safety aspects and document compliance, ensuring that the procedures required by the site coordination team were fully respected.
A successfully completed project
The intervention at the Electra site in Curno is an example of effective collaboration between suppliers, installers and the client. From material management through to final installation, each phase was organised to ensure a functional result aligned with the project objectives.
Progim Sign’s experience in exterior installations contributed to the creation of various elements designed to support electric charging services, improve the visibility of the station and facilitate communication with users.
