Project Objective
For the KIA Euromotor site in Modugno, Progim Sign was tasked with managing the interior fit-out of the showroom, with the goal of creating an environment aligned with KIA’s latest-generation format: welcoming spaces, clear customer pathways, and an immediately recognisable visual identity.
The intervention focused on interior furnishings and finishes, with particular attention to the wood-effect wall cladding, a distinctive feature of the KIA concept that helps warm the environment and enhance the vehicle display areas.
Design Development
Architectural and detailed design was developed by Quoin, the studio appointed to translate the KIA concept within the Euromotor Modugno spaces. Based on the project received, the Progim Sign team – coordinated by Stefania Scura and Mattia Molteni Bassi – organised the operational flow of supply and installation.
For the production of the elements:
- Interior furnishings were supplied by Vizona, an approved partner for the KIA network;
- Wood-effect wall cladding was produced by Grosfillex, a specialist in technical interior wall systems.
Progim Sign assumed the role of operational lead: planning activities, coordinating with the dealer, managing materials and supervising all installation phases in the showroom.
Coordination with the Dealer and Site Preparation
Before starting installations, Progim’s Project Management team shared a detailed pre-works email with Euromotor, summarising all necessary preliminary activities: areas to be cleared, plant and system checks, material delivery times and site access procedures.
This step made it possible to align expectations and timelines with the dealer, ensuring that all internal preparations were ready when the installation teams arrived on site, reducing the risk of delays during execution.
Logistics Management: From Progim Warehouse to the Showroom
All materials were initially stored at Progim Sign’s warehouses, where quantities and compliance with project specifications were verified.
In a second phase, once the availability of on-site space was confirmed, the components were delivered to the dealership and organised in such a way as to facilitate the work of the installation teams.
This two-step logistics approach provided flexibility with respect to the dealer’s schedule and allowed the interior fit-out to be planned at a time compatible with the dealership’s day-to-day operations.
Installation of Wood-Effect Wall Cladding and Interior Furnishings
Installation was carried out by a specialised technical team, responsible for fitting both the wood-effect wall cladding and the interior furnishings (sales desks, waiting areas, display elements, etc.), in accordance with the Quoin project and KIA guidelines.
The wood-effect wall cladding is one of the key features of the intervention: modular panels that visually define the different areas of the showroom, creating continuity between display spaces, reception and customer consultation areas.
On a right-hand side wall, corresponding to a full-height glazed façade, Progim Sign adopted a dedicated fixing method: the wood-effect cladding was not anchored using traditional systems, but bonded with solutions suitable for the glazed substrate. This approach made it possible to:
- Preserve the existing window frame;
- Still achieve a visually uniform result consistent with the rest of the showroom;
- Respect technical requirements and the dealer’s aesthetic expectations.
KIA Standards and Final Result
Progim Sign’s operational coordination delivered a result fully in line with the brand’s international format: an orderly, legible showroom that reflects KIA’s image.
The interiors of Euromotor Modugno now feature:
- A clear layout guiding customers between display area, reception and consultation spaces;
- Materials and finishes that enhance the vehicles on show;
- A contemporary, welcoming atmosphere perfectly aligned with the brand’s new identity.
The end client expressed appreciation both for the quality of the work and for the care with which Progim Sign managed coordination, logistics and installation.
With Euromotor Modugno, Progim Sign once again confirms its expertise in managing complete interior fit-out projects for the automotive sector, integrating executive design, supplier management and on-site operational direction.
