Client: Nissan
Dealership: MC Mobility – Lecce
Address: Viale del Risorgimento, 73100 Lecce LE
Project Manager: Diego Canidio
Every dealership has its own characteristics, while an automotive brand’s identity must remain recognisable and consistent across its network. This is the context for the work carried out by Visotec, which holds the contract with Nissan Europe for projects across its dealership network, together with Progim Sign, its operational partner in Italy for installation activities.
The project at the MC Mobility dealership in Lecce involved implementing Nissan Europe’s Corporate Identity standards, starting with preliminary site assessments and progressing through design, production of the signage elements and final installation.
For Progim Sign, the project was overseen by Project Manager Diego Canidio, who coordinated the different operational stages, aligning design development, material availability with Visotec and installation planning.
Understanding the Site Before Production Begins
The project began with an on-site assessment and the collection of the necessary measurements.
This stage makes it possible to align the standards defined by Nissan Europe’s Corporate Identity programme with the actual characteristics of the building, assessing from the outset how the brand identification elements would be integrated into the dealership.
Based on the information gathered, Progim Sign developed the site-specific design, taking it through the subsequent review and approval stages before the elements moved into production.
The value of this stage therefore goes beyond simply deciding where to position a sign. It lies in bridging the gap between a corporate standard and the actual conditions in which it must be installed.
Visotec: Manufacturing the Nissan Signage Elements
Once the project elements had been defined and approved, Visotec, an approved supplier for Nissan Europe’s Corporate Identity programme, began manufacturing the elements in accordance with the project specifications.
Meanwhile, Progim Sign coordinated the operational process between production, material availability and the subsequent installation at MC Mobility.
Working with Visotec allows the project to incorporate elements manufactured in accordance with the brand’s standards, while Progim Sign manages the next stage: ensuring that what has been designed and produced is correctly implemented at the dealership.
Coordinating the Stages Before Work Begins On Site
An important part of the work takes place before installation.
For MC Mobility, Progim Sign coordinated the dealership, design development, material availability and installation scheduling, ensuring that the various preliminary stages were aligned before work began on site.
The receipt of the signage elements was also organised around the activities planned at the dealership.
This approach ensures continuity throughout the project: the information gathered during the initial site survey forms the basis for design development, the approved design guides production, and the manufactured elements are then incorporated into the installation schedule.
Corporate Identity Takes Shape at the MC Mobility Dealership
The final stage involved fitting the brand identification elements and signage specified in the Nissan project.
Progim Sign organised and coordinated the on-site installation with specialist personnel, checking the consistency between the design specifications, the characteristics of the dealership and the final result.
No special manufacturing requirements or additional works needed to be highlighted: the focus of the project was on correctly implementing Nissan‘s brand identity at the MC Mobility dealership.
From Corporate Identity Standards to Local Implementation
The Lecce project highlights one of the most practical aspects of the work carried out by Visotec and Progim Sign in the automotive sector: translating a brand-wide Corporate Identity programme into a project that can be implemented at a specific dealership.
For MC Mobility, this meant surveying the site, developing the design in line with Nissan standards, coordinating signage production with Visotec and organising installation through to completion.
A single operational process, coordinated by Project Manager Diego Canidio, helped keep brand standards, production and actual site conditions aligned through to final installation.
