Project Objective

For the new Tigotà store in Cuveglio (VA), Gottardo Spa commissioned Progim Sign to deliver the full external identification package, with a clear focus on brand consistency, visibility and attention to detail on the glazed surfaces.

The goal was to create an immediately recognisable façade through a dedicated background cladding, the installation of the main sign and the application of window graphics, in line with corporate guidelines and the functional needs of the store.

Store Context

The Cuveglio store is located in a busy urban area, where the ability to stand out visually is crucial to attract both regular customers and passing traffic.
In this context, the role of the façade becomes central: cladding, signs and glass graphics are not only aesthetic elements, but also tools for brand communication and visual order.

The Progim Sign team therefore worked to adapt the Tigotà visual language to the architectural features of the building, while maintaining consistency with other stores in the network.

Background Cladding and Main Sign

The first design step concerned the definition of the background cladding, conceived to give uniformity to the façade and create a clean, coherent backdrop on which to highlight the Tigotà sign. The cladding was designed according to existing geometries and available heights, so as to best integrate frames, windows and entrances.

In line with brand standards, Progim Sign directly designed and produced:
• the background cladding in exterior-grade material, with finishes and colours consistent with the Tigotà image;
• the main Tigotà logo sign, sized and positioned to ensure maximum legibility from the road.

Production and installation were fully managed by Progim Sign, which handled the preparation of substructures, alignment of elements and final checks at height. Installed on the new cladded background, the sign becomes the visual focal point of the façade, easily recognisable even from a distance.

Window Graphics: Communication and Privacy on the Shopfront

A central element of the Cuveglio project is represented by the window graphics applied to the store’s glazed surfaces.

Progim Sign, through Project Manager Francesco Barbaglio, oversaw the entire process, from preparation of the final artwork files to the production of the films and installation.
Particular attention was paid to aligning the graphics across the various glass modules, in order to ensure continuity from one panel to the next and achieve a visually homogeneous result.

Operational Management and Client Collaboration

Site management was planned in collaboration with Tigotà Construction Site Manager Pierpaolo Loffredo, with the aim of concentrating activities within a tight timeframe and coordinating them with the other set-up works for the store.
This integrated approach made it possible to have a single technical contact for the entire external identification package, simplifying coordination and ensuring consistency between design and final result.

Final Result and Value for the Tigotà Brand in Cuveglio

At the end of the intervention, the Tigotà store in Cuveglio presents a clear, recognisable façade, fully aligned with the brand identity. The background cladding brings order to the elevation, the main sign makes the store immediately identifiable, and the window graphics complete the picture by balancing visibility, light and privacy.

The project confirms Progim Sign’s ability to comprehensively manage external identification for retail, supporting well-structured organisations such as Gottardo Spa in creating stores that are consistent, well-crafted and ready to welcome customers with a strong, instantly recognisable image.
