A dealership that shifts into a new gear

In a KIA rebranding project, the result is not the sum of individual elements: it is the overall impression created the moment customers step into the showroom. For the Autotorino site in Valmadrera, Progim Sign managed a complete interior transformation, focusing on the elements that truly define the space: furniture, wall systems and the Infinity Front.

The objective here was to create continuity. Continuity between materials and surfaces, between volumes and customer flow, between reception and consultation areas. An approach that makes the showroom more orderly, more legible and more consistent with the KIA format.

Operational direction: method, sequencing and control

A complete site requires a coordinated approach, where every component must arrive at the right time, fit into its intended position and integrate with the surrounding elements. Project Managers Stefania Scura and Mattia Molteni Bassi oversaw phase planning, supplier integration and installation checks, keeping format requirements aligned with the actual constraints of the dealership.

Coordination with KIA Italia was carried out with the support of Luca Di Matteo, Dealer Network Analysis Specialist at KIA, and Alessandra Patota, Space Identity and Contract Specialist at KIA, to ensure consistency between project setup, spatial identity and network standards.

Integrated supplies for a uniform result

The project involved several partners, all coordinated by Progim Sign to ensure consistency of finishes and compatibility across components:

  • Vizona for the furniture;
  • Grosfillex for surface-related elements and finishes;
  • Absolute for specific components integrated into the layout.

Managing the interfaces between different supplies was a key aspect of the project: joints, transitions and dimensional coordination were developed to avoid visual discontinuity and achieve a clean overall result.

Furniture: functionality and spatial order

The furniture was introduced to make showroom use clearer and to support day-to-day activities such as reception, consultation and vehicle display. The layout was designed to guide customers naturally through the space, reducing confusing areas and improving usability.

Walls: surfaces that shape perception

The walls were not treated as a simple background, but as an active part of the format. Surfaces, finishes and visual rhythm were developed to give coherence to the environment and strengthen the reading of the main areas, while maintaining consistency from different viewing angles.

Infinity Front: two solutions, one single brand reading

The Infinity Front completes the showroom identity and, at this site, it was delivered in a mixed configuration: free-standing on the left side and wall-mounted on the right.

To ensure installation stability and the correct final result, reinforcement of the entire suspended ceiling was handled by the dealer. The integration of these two solutions made it possible to maintain a continuous and coherent reading of the format, in full continuity with the furniture and wall systems.

Result

Today, the KIA Autotorino Valmadrera site features a complete and coherent interior environment, where furniture, walls and arch work together to deliver a more orderly experience aligned with the brand format.

This project confirms Progim Sign’s role in managing complex interior rebranding projects: multi-supplier coordination, attention to technical interfaces and care for the final result, without leaving anything to chance.
